Process
Our Restoration Process
Our Restoration Process depends on the condition of each watch:
When a watch is well preserved
we carefully service and oil the original mechanism, clean the dial, buff the case, and restore its shine while keeping the watch as authentic as possible.
When certain parts are damaged
we replace only what is necessary while preserving the original mechanism and important original elements whenever possible. This may include replacing a worn case while keeping the original dial and movement or restoring the case while refinishing or repainting the dial.
For watches with heavily worn exteriors
we may use aftermarket cases and dials while still preserving the original mechanism at the heart of the watch giving vintage movements a second life for modern wrists.
